Biography

Shen Xiao is an associate chief physician at the First Affiliated Hospital of Chongqing Medical University, a Japan-trained PhD, and a graduate of Shanghai Medical College, Fudan University. He is the pioneer of vessel-preserving double eyelid surgery.

He studied microsurgery and aesthetic surgery at the University of Tokyo, Japan. He serves as a member of the Oculoplastic Surgery Committee of the Plastic Surgery Branch of the Chinese Medical Association and a member of the Plastic Surgery Branch of the Chongqing Medical Association. He has published multiple clinical articles in journals such as Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, Journal of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, and Journal of Cosmetic Dermatology. He has led one research project of the Chinese Medical Association and holds two national invention patents.

Specialties: refined aesthetic eye surgery, facial rejuvenation, breast plastic surgery, body contouring, treatment of superficial tumors, and microsurgical repair and reconstruction of scar deformities and complex wounds.
